Michael Saylor anticipates a Bitcoin price of $6 million per BTC in the future, a 12,000% rise over the current value. In the long-term, expects that the Bitcoin will reach a market valuation of 100 trillion USD.

Michael Saylor has been vocal concerning Bitcoin and crypto, particularly taking great exception to the two. Under his leadership, MicroStrategy bought $250,000 worth of Bitcoin in August 2020. Ever since, Bitcoin has become Microstrategy's main reserve asset

According to Michael Saylor, Microstrategy aims to solely acquire and custody BTC. The CEO said they had no plans to venture into yield-making strategies like Bitcoin-backed credits amid the venture's returns of about 5% per annum. He said, "I think the counterparty risk is large."

However, Saylor hinted recently at the likelihood of MicroStrategy leveraging some alternative concepts to produce yield.
